In this article are explained the below topics:
An overview of the contents section
The Contents section has been built using the concept of the CMS structure. The main goal of it is to store products and offers content and then reuse them in any templates as per users’ needs.
Some advantages of using the Contents section are:
Contents are stored, reusable, and extendable.
Templates can be swapped in and out for a page to quickly change the style.
Reduce the development time on building new pages or rebuilding them to the new standards.
What is the Schema?
The Schema is a section of CTRwow, which is accessible only to the development team that creates or updates the schemas based on new design standards.
In this section can be set rules on how users can structure a specific type of content.
Each type of page or content should have its own schema, for instance, checkouts, blogs, Testimonials, FAQs, etc. These schemas can be extended when there are more fields required unless the structure is completely different.
What is the Contents section about?
Content is an instance of a schema with detailed copies and images of a product or an offer. For instance, we have the content for the RangeXTD offer that uses the checkout schema. This content is used for the checkout templates that support this feature.
The Data Entry team or any user can create a new piece of content for any product using a specific schema, such as checkout.
The templates which can load these prepared contents are different from the regular templates. They need to be rebuilt with placeholders that match the elements of the schema they want to work with.
These placeholders will load the correspondent contents to display on the page in CTRwow builder.
Create a page
When creating a new page with this new template, we can select the content we want to use. Then in CTRwow builder, we can see the page created with selected content, we can make changes before publishing.
After that, we can go into the page settings and select another template of the same type to switch to. This page will be loaded with the same content on the newly selected template. Then we can make any changes in the builder and publish it.
