What is this section about?
In this section, the user can easily design the content of emails templates to use for email campaigns.
Once the design of the email has been created, this can download or employed across a couple of email marketing service providers, such as Maropost and Blueshift.
Please note that as these are templates, the user can use the same template again and again for multiple campaigns with different content.
Where to find the Email Templates section
To find this section, please follow the below instruction.
Log into your CTRwow account and go to the left side menu
Click on BUILD
Then scroll down, and you can find the Email Templates section
How to create an email content
Please follow the below instruction to start creating your email content.
From the Email Templates section, go to the right side of the page

Click on the + New Email Template

New Email Template tab will pop up, and the user can choose between the two options: Create Blank Page or Select Template.
Please note that the Select Template options will provide a sample of email contents only if the user has already created an email content and saved it as a Template.

After clicking on either option, mentioned above, the user needs to fill the New Email Template tab, with the new content name, subject, description and add the tags.

Once the New Email Template tab has been filled, the user should click on the Create button, at the bottom of the tab, and he/she will be redirected to the Email Template Builder
The Email Template Builder
On the Email Template Builder the user has the options discussed below.
Please remember to Lock the page, by clicking on the Lock icon in order to start editing it, as the Email Builder is just a light version of the Page/Website Builder
The left side menu
On the left side menu, there are three main features:

The Elements: in which are displayed all widgets that can be dragged and dropped to the page, by the user and then customized. By using these widgets, users can add different sections, text fields, or images boxes to the page.

The Style Manager: by which users, when you add and then select an element to the page, it allows customizing its style, format, dimension, borders, background, and add animations
-
The Layers: which shows all the HTML elements in a relationship as parent-child as many layers. In other words, this field breaks down all sections of each one of your web pages
The top bar
On the top bar are available the below features (from left to right).

The device views: by clicking on the mobile, tablet, or desktop icon on the top left of the page, the user can directly check if the design file renders well on each one of the device views

The Lock icon: once the page is locked the user can start editing it as well as when finish, unlock the page otherwise any other user, whose have access to the CTRwow account can edit it

The Undo and Redo arrows: can be used to revert or repeat the last change made to your image
-
The Show Border icon: by clicking this icon, the user can include or exclude the element border from the page

The Preview icon: by clicking on this icon, the page will be open in a different tab showing to the user how is going to be the email once published

The Page Editing History: with this feature the user can check all the previous versions of the page, also there is the option to revert to the previous version or to go to the latter one.

The Save button: to save all changes made on the page

The Download button: by clicking this button, the user will start downloading the Email template on his/her computer
By selecting each element

Select Parent icon: by clicking on this, the user will select the parent element of it

Move icon: by clicking and holding this icon, the user can move the element and change its position on the page

Clone icon: this is to duplicate the element
-
Delete icon: this is to delete the element
-
Save as: to save the element as Custom Widget.

Link: by clicking on this icon, the user can add Internal or External links to the element.

How to edit the content of an email
To edit the content of an existing email template, just follow the below steps.
From the Email Templates section, hover the mouse on the Email Template that needs to be updated

Click on the Edit icon, and you will be redirected to the Email Builder
or click on the Action (three dots) icon and then select Edit, which will redirect you to the Email Builder

Once on the Email Builder, lock the page, by selecting the Lock icon on the top right of the page
Start editing.
How to set the email design as Template
To set as a Template the content created, please follow the below guidelines.
From the Email Templates section, hover the mouse on the Email Template you want to save as a template

Click on the Action (three dots) icon and then select Save As Sample option, from the drop-down menu

The template has now been saved to the Email Templates library of your CTRwow account. Therefore, when you decide to create new content, by hitting the option Select Template
on the New Email Template tab, all your saved templates will be displayed there
How to duplicate an email template
To duplicate an email template, please follow the below instructions.
From the Email Templates section, hover the mouse on the email template you want to duplicate

Click on the Action (three dots) icon and then select Duplicate
The page will be cloned and appear in the Email Template section
How to download a template
To download an email template, please follow the below steps.
From the Email Templates section, hover the mouse on the email template you want to download

Click on the Action (three dots) icon and then select Download
The page will be downloaded into your machine.
How to publish a template
In this case, Publish means to send the email template to one of the two Email Marketing Platforms connected to CTRwow, which are:
Maropost
Blueshift.
To publish an email template, please follow the below steps.
From the Email Templates section, hover the mouse on the email template you want to publish

Click on the Action (three dots) icon and then select Publish

The Publish tab will pop up, and you choose between Maropost or Blueshift platform
- By choosing Maropost, the system will request to paste the Account ID and the Secret Key of the Maropost account
- By Choosing Blueshift, only the Secret Key is requested -
Once the data is filled, just click on the Publish button, at the bottom of the tab
How to delete a template
To delete an email template, please follow the below steps.
From the Email Templates section, hover the mouse on the email template you want to delete

Click on the Action (three dots) icon and then select Delete
The email template will be removed.
How to access your Email template Settings
To access the email template Settings tab, please follow the below steps.
From the Email Templates section, hover the mouse on the email template you want to access the Settings
-
Click on the Action (three dots) icon and then select Settings
-
Once the details have been updated, click on the Save button at the bottom of the tab
